0.5 cup dried purple corn (maiz morado)
4 cups water
1 cinnamon stick
5 cloves
1 lime, juiced
0.25 cup sugar
1 apple, diced
1 quince, diced (optional)

4 cups water
1 cinnamon stick
5 cloves
1 lime, juiced

1 quince, diced (optional)
1. Boil purple corn, cinnamon, and cloves in water for 45 minutes.
2. Strain and discard corn and spices.
3. Add diced apple and quince. Cool.
4. Strain again, add sugar and lime juice.
5. Refrigerate and serve cold over ice.
