Phil Ward's brilliant rye-based riff on the Last Word. Rye, green Chartreuse, maraschino and lemon in perfect equal-parts harmony.
3/4 oz rye whiskey
3/4 oz green Chartreuse
3/4 oz maraschino liqueur
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
ice
Combine all four equal-parts ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until very cold. Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass and serve without garnish.
