1 tsp ceremonial grade matcha powder
2 oz hot water (not boiling)
1 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz honey syrup
4 oz sparkling water
lemon slice (garnish)
ice
Ceremonial-grade matcha whisked and layered over fresh lemonade for a striking, earthy and refreshing non-alcoholic drink.
1 tsp ceremonial grade matcha powder
2 oz hot water (not boiling)
1 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz honey syrup
4 oz sparkling water
lemon slice (garnish)
ice
Whisk matcha powder with hot water until no lumps remain. Let cool. Combine lemon juice and honey syrup in a glass over ice. Pour in the cooled matcha. Top with sparkling water - do not stir to allow the green matcha to float dramatically. Garnish with a lemon slice.
