1 cup whole milk or oat milk
1 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
1/2 cup cooked tapioca pearls

The beloved Taiwanese boba tea classic made with taro powder, creamy milk and chewy tapioca pearls. Sweet, earthy and irresistible.
2 tbsp taro powder
1 cup whole milk or oat milk
1 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
1/2 cup cooked tapioca pearls
ice
Cook tapioca pearls according to package directions and soak in simple syrup. Combine taro powder, milk and simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake very vigorously until taro is fully dissolved and drink is frothy. Place tapioca pearls in the bottom of a large glass. Fill with ice. Pour taro milk tea over. Serve with a wide boba straw.
