Named for the three jewels it represents - gin (diamond), green Chartreuse (emerald), and sweet vermouth (ruby). A stirred pre-Prohibition classic.
🧪 Ingredients
1 oz gin
1 oz green Chartreuse
1 oz sweet vermouth
1 dash orange bitters
lemon twist (garnish)
maraschino cherry (garnish)
ice

🥄 Method
Combine gin, Chartreuse, sweet vermouth and orange bitters in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well chilled, about 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist and a cherry.
