A Manhattan with Averna Amaro replacing the sweet vermouth. Richer, darker and more bitter than the original with complex herbal notes.

🧪 Ingredients

2 oz rye whiskey
1 oz Averna Amaro
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 dash orange bitters
maraschino cherry (garnish)
ice

🥄 Method

Combine rye, Averna and both bitters in a mixing glass with plenty of ice. Stir until very cold. Strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
