The ultimate amaretto sour: silky almond-sweet amaretto and lemon juice with egg white for a beautiful frothy head, improved with a splash of bourbon.
🧪 Ingredients
1 1/2 oz amaretto
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz cask-proof bourbon
1/2 oz simple syrup
1 egg white
maraschino cherry (garnish)
orange slice (garnish)
ice

🥄 Method
Combine amaretto, lemon juice, bourbon, simple syrup and egg white in a shaker without ice. Dry shake for 15 seconds. Add ice and shake again hard for 15 more seconds. Double-strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Garnish with a cherry and orange slice.
