New Orleans' dramatic tableside flaming coffee drink — Cognac, Cointreau and dark coffee set ablaze.

🧪 Ingredients

4 oz strong hot coffee
1.5 oz Cognac
1/2 oz Cointreau
1 cinnamon stick
4 whole cloves
1 long orange and lemon peel spiral
1 tsp sugar

🥄 Method

In a chafing dish combine Cognac, Cointreau, spices and peel. Warm over low heat and ignite. Ladle flaming liquid over peels. Slowly pour in hot coffee to extinguish. Strain into a warm demitasse.
