Mexico's refreshing Paloma gets a fiery jalapeño kick in this modern take on the classic grapefruit tequila highball.
🧪 Ingredients
2 oz blanco tequila or mezcal
2 fresh jalapeño slices
2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
2 oz soda water or grapefruit soda
chili salt rim
grapefruit wedge (garnish)
ice

🥄 Method
Rim a highball glass with chili salt. Muddle jalapeño slices in a shaker. Add tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice and simple syrup with ice. Shake well. Fill glass with ice and double-strain cocktail in. Top with soda water. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
