The Victorian-era Champagne cocktail — a sugar cube soaked in bitters with Champagne poured over.

🧪 Ingredients

1 sugar cube
3 dashes Angostura bitters
4-5 oz Champagne
1 lemon twist

🥄 Method

Place a sugar cube in the bottom of a Champagne flute. Saturate it with Angostura bitters. Pour cold Champagne slowly over the sugar cube. Garnish with a lemon twist.

🍽 Serve & Garnish

Champagne flute with the bitters-soaked sugar cube at the bottom.
